1. Acceptance of Terms

By using SayaiNow ("the Application"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Application.

2. Description of Service

SayaiNow is a local-first AI workspace that provides tools for AI chat, journaling, goal tracking, memory management, image generation, multi-model comparison, a privacy-first Gmail Workspace overlay, a YouTube Workspace intelligence hub featuring localized transcript extraction, chaptering, and click-to-play privacy controls, and a Live News Stream Workspace providing global RSS feed integration with browser-native text-to-speech reading capabilities. The application runs in your browser and stores data locally on your device. All locally stored data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with keys derived via PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations, SHA-256).

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SayaiNow for personal and professional purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the application.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create — including journal entries, conversations, personas, memories, and generated media. Since your data is stored locally, we have no access to it and make no claim over it.

5. BYOK Responsibilities

SayaiNow operates on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You are responsible for:

  • API Costs: Any charges from AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) are your responsibility.
  • Key Security: Keep your API keys secure. We are not liable for unauthorized usage of your keys.
  • Provider Compliance: You must follow the terms of service of any AI provider whose API you use.
  • Local AI Hardware: Running local models requires a WebGPU-compatible browser and sufficient VRAM. We are not responsible for hardare-related performance issues or crashes when running local AI.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use SayaiNow to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Disrupt or attempt to compromise the Application's integrity.

7. Limitation of Liability

SAYAINOW IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, INCLUDING DATA LOSS, AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR THIRD-PARTY API CHARGES.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.

9. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the application following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using SayaiNow at any time by clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app. Since no data is stored on our servers, this fully terminates your relationship with the Application.
